Dear Name of X-wife,
My brother lived three years beyond what the doctors said he would. I believe you will do even better. I will do whatever I can for both you and our son. I will pay you to let our son drive your car, untill he can get his working. Or I will buy him a dependable car or give him the money to fix one of his vans.
