As a Giants fan, I was “disappointed” the Giants won BOTH their World Series Championships AWAY! 2010 in 5 games; 2012 in 4 games. I wanted to see them win the Championship at HOME! And I wanted to see more EXCITING games.
. . I was on the VERGE of hoping the Giants would LOSE an away game! After the 4 game sweep, the excitement was over; the next 3 NO-GAME days were SAD! I wanted MORE BASEBALL! So did ALL the fans I talked to.

Let’s Play EIGHT World Series Games! TOTAL Runs Win!
The fans want FOUR guaranteed games at home. Owners, coaches, players, news media, advertisers, local businesses, vendors and ALL others who PROFIT on game days will want the extra income!
. . All the people who prepare for games will be happy knowing YES there will be games 5, 6, 7, and 8. The way it is now, such a person may have only a few hours before they know if there will be a next game. Should they buy tens of thousands of hot dogs or not?

We can have eight World Series games THIS YEAR!

Today’s SEVENTH GAME excitement happens once every few years. With a Even-Series-Playoff(tm) the EXCITEMENT will START in the first game EVERY year and build EVERY game to a EIGHTH GAME EXCITEMENT! There will be EXCITEMENT, even if a team is ten or more runs behind starting the eighth game; EVERYONE knows there is a chance they can come back and win!

No one will be able to say, “The Giants won the World Series, because the Tigers were idle to long after sweeping the Yankees.” Or, “You won the World Series, because we were drained playing 7 games in the League Championship.”

Now the start date for the World Series is Tentative, because the end date of the previous series is unknown. With The EVEN-Playoff-Format(tm), ALL the dates can be scheduled.
