A dying, 83 year old, sharp minded man always wanted to be a bulldozer operator ever since he was a boy playing with toy dozers. Life-Ahead(tm) will allow him to do that for decades after his body dies! At first he could operate a VIRTUAL dozer simulation until he is skilled enough to earn his operator’s license. Then he could operate a REMOTE controlled dozer anywhere on Earth, or EVEN a dozer on the MOON! And even a dozer at an under sea mining operation, where unknown RICHES are waiting! And if he wanted, he with his life support can be placed ON the dozer!

The bulldozer driver was against Life-Ahead(tm), until I asked him what he wanted to do all his life, but never did. After understanding the possibilities, he changed his mind, and said, “YES!”
. . A man thought LifeAhead(tm) was ghoulish, until he realized that in the near future whole-body transplant and whole-body clone transplant is possible. We agree! This man changed his mind and said, “Yes.”
. . A woman was very much against Life-Ahead(tm). The major importance in her life was her family: her decedents. I asked her if she would like to help guide and care for her Great, Great Grandchildren DECADES after her body dies? “You will be able to see, hear, and talk to your descendants, earn money for them, and even call 911, if needed. A camcorder could be put on a decedents blouse and you could go everywhere with your Great, Great Granddaughter. There may come a time when the youngster may put her hand over the camcorder and say, “Not now Grammy!” Would you like that?” She thought it over for a few minutes, then said, “Yes, yes I would.””
THREE TYPES OF LIFE-AHEAD(TM) ACTIVITIES:
There are three types of activities to choose and switch between at your will: virtual, remote, or actual. Within each of those three types of activities are three subsets: passenger, partial control, or full control (see motorcycle or bulldozer example).

Ideas4Humanity.com has conceived new disabled human/computer interfaces so good that even a Total Locked-In-Syndrome> person who can think only “yes” thru brain waves can communicate COMPLETELY with a computer, and thus the world, at near texting speeds! It will be texting speeds, if the handicapped person can think “left,” or “right.” A total locked-in-syndrome person can learn to think many commands to control computers and machines more efficiently.
Professor Stephen Hawking can do more than just think “yes”: even thou he can only twitch his cheek, he can relax his cheek muscle to represent 0% (far left) and fully tighten his cheek for 100% (far right), and every percentage in between. With this variable input, Dr. Hawking can quickly aim at a item, a character or action, in a list. Then, by pausing on the target for a personally selected amount of time, plant the character or do the action.
Just think what Jim Carrey could do with ALL his face muscles! It would be unhealthy to oppose a fighter aircraft controlled by Jim Carrey’s face.

THE RIGHT ENDOCRINE GLAND BREW:
We humans produce about 200 hormones in endocrine glands throughout our bodies. About 23 of these hormones are made by about four glands in the brain. Hormones keep the body functions in balance in ways that are not yet fully understood. These endocrine glands inject chemicals into the blood to report, direct, and force body functions, sometimes one gland does one, two, or all three. The brain keeps the body functions in balance by injecting directing chemicals into the blood stream in response to reporting chemicals injected from all around the body.
. . A Head-Alone(tm) without a body will go crazy without these chemicals from its missing body. But the proper BREW of these chemicals will FOOL the brain into a chemical state of “all is fine down there.” It may take some research and experimenting to make the right brew. A detailed analysis of the blood chemicals of a whole body person at rest, calm, and at optimum room temperature maybe all that is required. Or maybe not, because the brain’s chemicals are in there as well. It is possible we will learn a great deal about the endocrine system by tinkering with the chemicals of both whole body and Head-Alone(tm) people.

PHANTOM PAIN IS OUR BIGGEST UNKNOWN:

Mix 10 yards of concrete in a hour without a cement mixer.
Cut a cord of wood in a hour without a chainsaw.
Grow enough food to feed ourselves without tractors.

LifeAhead(tm) is inspired not only by Stephan Hawking but also by my sweet, precious, adorable, Foo Foo Girl. Foo Foo is extremely feminine, the most feminine I have ever known and seldom see! She is a color television in a world of black and white women! She is the top 600 (maybe even a 1000) in a Mall full of 600 women from ages 20 to 40! She has the good stuff.
. . She was malnourished her whole childhood, she even had rickets, a bone disease caused by malnutrition. She was so malnourished that ALL her internal organs never developed properly. And now, in her sixties, her organs are failing. Over the last five years, she has battled and defeated cancer four times. But now, she does not want to go thru the harsh, painful treatment AGAIN for the FIFTH time. Her body and spirit are weakened to the point of “DO NOT RESUSCITATE!” It is heart breaking to me. She, an once very vibrant person, can function for only half a day and now needs two days of rest to recover. This is NOT her way.
. . I am hoping Life-Ahead(tm) will be ready when her body dies. Now she does not want LifeAhead(tm). I think she would be perfect for it: she is smart, likes to read and watch TV (she loves the Closer, Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson!), she is well organized and was the manager of document control at a fortune 500 technical company AND a technical writer (very smart, very organized, very vibrant, very Foo Foo; that’s a woman BEYOND my dreams! But once she was mine.)
. . I want her to try Life-Ahead(tm) for at least a month. To people who say no, I ask them, “When you are on your death bed would you be willing to TRY Life-Ahead(tm) for a month, or do you want to die now?” Most have said yes. After a month, if they don’t like it, they could be disconnected and be “disassembled“ in the frightened words of Short Circuit’s robot Johnny Five>.
. . For decades she has wanted a BMW car! She can learn to operate a virtual BMW and earn her remote and actual driver’s license. I know this girl: she would have a Foo Foo manikin sitting behind the wheel of her remote control BMW. She would have earned that BMW doing, as of yet, unknown kind of work. Or better yet her Head-Above(tm) would be mounted on that Foo Foo manikin. She could be a BMW taxi driver, to pay for her BMW and show off her Foo-Foo Finger-Fluffed hairdos! I would ride with her! She would be a vibrant Get-Ahead(tm) Foo-Foo girl again. I would share my passion and my excitement with her!
Saving Stephen Hawking is important to me, but saving her is much more important!

"A Better Life 4 All"(TM) 
Why live a virtual world when you have a perfect spiritual body that never ages, and goes immediately to Heaven to be with Jesus when you die? Do you really think a virtual world is better? Put God first in your life and he will take care of you when your physical body gets sick or injured and dies.
I probably shouldn’t get into this story but it sure meant a lot to me. thirty 39 years ago, I was very sick, I passed out twice in the morning trying to get out of bed to go to the bathroom, I somehow made it to the doctors office of a friend of mine, the doctor gave me a penicillin shot, and by mistake injected it straight into an artery, I told him I could taste it instantly, then I went into convulsions, passed out, and then he told me my heart stopped. My spititual body went through something like a tunnel, then saw a great warm loving light. I had two spiritual beings on each side of me, and many more souls in front and behind of me going up to the light, as I was going to the light I knew it was God, I said, God I can’t go now, I have three little boys who need me. Instantly I opened my eyes, saw the Dr listening for my heart beat, and told him I was fine, my fever, sore throat, weakness, were completely gone. I felt great, I drove home, told my wife and brother about it, and I knew that I would never be afraid of dying, it was several years later that books were written about the same experience. That is why it’s so important to put God number one in your life, he will take care of you for eternity if you do.

If the body dies then God has decided, he wants you home. Duane nor I would want to live on a machine, why bother when you have a perfect spiritual body. You asked me for my opinion, and thats it. I understand all medical possibilities you pointed out, but that’s my personal opinion.
